Hi, my name is Steve Domchick and I run the soccer leagues and programs here at Springside. I have been involved with soccer for the last 18 years, starting with my son’s involvement and I began playing myself 14 years ago, not very well, but I have a lot of fun. I started working at Springside Soccer in 2000 as a part-time job a couple of nights a week and sometimes on Saturdays. I did that for 7 years and learned the ropes and ins and outs of setting up leagues and clinics, scheduling refs, and handling any minor problems that might pop up on a day to day basis. Then 3 years ago the manager at the time left and I was able to step in and start to manage the facility. It has been an enjoyable time and I am constantly learning new facets to the business. I have an excellent staff of young men that are all very knowledgable about soccer and are always willing to help any customer with what they need. My goal is to make soccer accessable and fun for all ages, while also keeping it competitive, as witnessed by the age (from 6 to 68) and talent diversity (beginner to ex-pros) that we have playing in our leagues.
