Established in 1973, Springside Athletic Club is Akron’s most complete multi-athletic, fitness and recreational facility. We are a family oriented club, with programs tailored to every interest and every age group, from toddlers to senior citizens. You’ll notice it the very first time you visit; the atmosphere is vibrant, the people are friendly, and the facility is superb. From spacious locker rooms to a relaxing lounge and a well-staffed nursery, every effort has been made to ensure that Springside exceeds your expectations of what a fitness club should be.

Stop in for a visit …

There’s a program to fit every need at Springside, from JR workouts for our young members to Senior classes. We offer a variety of aerobics and adult exercise programs to help our members firm up and stay toned. They include Yoga, Kettlebell, ABSolution, and Specialty classes such as Kick Boxing and Spinning. For walking, jogging, and running, our 1/12th mile cushioned track encircling the basketball and Pickleball courts is easy on the joints and available anytime.
